Logging data & speed saving

Hi,

I'm trying out Wanproxy for my home network and have it up and running (Local Debain box routing to remote Debain box which has the fast connection).

But I"m finding it really difficult to put a definitive figure against the savings (Both in speed and data downloaded/uploaded).

What would be the best way of doing this?

My C++ is very rusty I'm afraid!
